I wasn’t going to buy Greenstyle’s Ultra Crop when it was released because I just couldn’t envision myself wearing it. But, by the end of the release sale, I saw a few versions that made me change my mind so I picked it up. I REALLY like color blocked sleeves (especially those with stripes down the sides and shoulders) so I couldn’t wait to give this version a try…. and here it is.

As far as the pattern goes – it’s very well designed. There’s lots of options to choose from, everything comes together well, and the instructions are clear. The fit, well, the name doesn’t lie, it’s ultra cropped. The finished look (I made the longer version) is shorter than I anticipated and I’m finding that I don’t have great bottoms to wear with it (not to mention the fact I feel like I need to do a lot more core exercises). While its ADORABLE, I think that I’m going to have to lengthen the pattern some next time so that I’m happier with the fit (and\or make some high rise pants to wear with this version).
