I decided now that my jacket is complete, I need to focus back onto my Burda Easy Fashion magazine. I would really like for the tunic top to work out, so this time I traced the smallest size (last time I made the 36) and am eliminating the seam allowances. I’ll be making another muslin to test this out!

I Had A Dream
I had a really weird dream last night and in it, I was making my wrap dress (seriously!). I thought that was a sign that I should start on this pattern today.

After reading a bit on Pattern Review about some of the tops in Burda Easy Fashion, I thought that I had better make a muslin for the Tunic Top before I cut into my pretty Emma One Sock onionskin. Good thing I did, here’s my results:
The Wrap Dress
Diane von Furstenberg made the wrap dress famous in 1976 – and it’s still holding strong today. Occasionally, you can find her patterns on Ebay (for a small fortune), but since I’m not willing to pay hundreds of dollars for a pattern, I’ll just knock it off!
Tiered Skirt Added
I added Burda’s Easy Fashion tiered skirt to the project sidebar tonight. I worked on this today and managed to complete it tonight! I had all the pieces cut out and ready to go – all in all, it went together very fast. I even inserted the invisible zipper without any problems.
