Happy New Year! I don”t know about everyone else, but I think we all need to give ourselves a pat on the back for surviving 2020 – this year was a struggle in all sorts of ways!
Normally I would write up an end of the year post – breaking down what my most sewn patterns\pattern companies were, how many yards I sewed, up, etc. But I’ll be honest, I gave up recording that midway through the year. Between becoming a homeschool mom, dealing with my mom’s sudden health issues and passing, and just the pandemic in general, I found myself in sort of a sewing slump. So, instead of a wrap up, I found up what my most popular Instagram photos were for 2020. As you can see, some were sewing related (like my Jalie Jeanne, So Sew English’s Cabo Maxi, the Ellie & Mac romper, and a video tutorial that I made to supplement a WeAllSew tutorial that I had made several years ago that got several requests to do). The rest are random highlights like Easton’s birthday and me deciding to color my hair purple.
As for 2021, I’m feeling slightly recharged and motivated to create some beautiful things. Thanks for sharing the ups and downs of the past year with me and I’m looking forward to bringing you new projects and Linky Thursday inspirations in 2021. Here’s to a brighter outlook and 365 days of new opportunities!
