Hot off the sewing machine (literally, it is just minutes old!) is a second Hug Hoodie – this time with an actual hood.
I had really good intentions in finishing up a few projects that I had already cut, but it suddenly got chilly and I decided I needed another hoodie. This time around I opted for a plain gray sweatshirt fabric for the body. As much as I love the yellow polka dot version, I’m finding that there isn’t a lot that I can wear it with (I guess I need to start thinking about some new bottoms), so I decided to go with a more neutral look. I did add a fun camo print for the hood lining, in part to make it more interesting, but also because this sweatshirt fleece is pretty thick and I didn’t want a bulky hood. Overall this is a much cozier feeling top that the French Terry and I think it will look great with a pair of black, high waisted leggings…. although I’m thinking this camo print may make a cute jogger too – can anyone say matching lounge set?
