Harvest Cardigan

If you haven’t grabbed your copy of Creative Machine Embroidery magazine, then you’re missing out on a great project (shameful plug), The Harvest Cardigan!

For this project, I used the Blackwood Cardigan and the most adorable fall leaves designs to embellish the pockets and the binding around the front\neckline. While there was a lot of embroidery involved, it was worth it in the end because I definitely think this cardigan screams fall (and perfect for those pumpkin spice\boot wearing\corn maze walking opportunities). As for the fabric, I used a mustardy\chartreuse French Terry that I had gotten in a bundle from So Sew English Fabrics. Initially, when I received it, I wasn’t sure how I would use it, but once this project came along, I knew it was the perfect match. Now I’m thinking I need more French Terry cardigans in my life!
