Bret will periodically go through a box in his office (this is the one part of the house that I left unpacking up to him… which is why there are still boxes) and pull out a few surprises. This week, the surprise was my sewing machine manuals and a few PDF patterns that I had worked on shortly before the move…. one of the was the Valencia!
I had actually been looking for this pattern over the summer and thought that I had thrown out. As much as I wanted to make this again, I didn’t want to have to re-tape and cut the pattern out either, so I was thrilled I had everything ready to go. Thankfully, I had saved some scraps from my Jalie Coocoon Cardigan and Hey June Union St. Tee projects to put this shirt together – my only regret is that I didn’t have enough to make this a long sleeved, but I think this will work under a cozy cardigan.
