A little about this dress: it’s a boho style top or dress (which comes in a maxi and dress length) with an absolutely adorable keyhole back. Unlike most of the dresses I have made recently, this one is designed for wovens. When picking out material for this one, keep in mind that there are several tiers to this dress so it’s important to select a fabric that is lightweight and has great drape (I made mine in Sincerely Rylee’s Brooklyn).
Sewing this up was easy. However, don’t expect to whip this up quickly – there is a lot of gathering to do and if you’re doing this by hand it does take awhile…. but the results are worth it. In fact, Taylor loved the finished look so much she “volunteered” to model for this one…. and never returned the dress.
