Five fabrics down, one left to go in my (self-imposed) Knit Fix Challenge! The last print that I had left to use was the teal anchor on a cotton\rayon blend fabric. I loved this material as soon as I saw it, but have to admit that I was creatively stumped as to what I should make with this one…. so I sewed a wardrobe staple – a classic tee.
For this project, I used Jalie 2805 – a simple ring neck shirt with cap sleeves. I added 1″ to the bottom hem, but didn’t make any other changes to the pattern. The end result is a cute little top that is wonderfully soft and comfortable to wear… in fact, this is my outfit today!
Even though all 6 fabrics from my bag have projects made from them, I still have some yardage left to make a few more items – so keep an eye out for some of these materials to make their appearance again in the coming weeks.
