This weekend I got to do one of my favorite types of sewing… for baby. My daughter’s cheer coach is having a shower soon and I decided to make her a few gifts: a set of burp cloths (the embellished cloth diaper style) and matching bibs. Once again, I used Chickpea Sewing Studios bib pattern – I think it’s perfect for infants\young babies because of it’s size. The only modification that I made to it is eliminating the snap and using (heat fix) Velcro instead. Not only is it quick and easy, I think that it’s simpler to put on a baby. Now I can’t wait for my sister-in-law to find out what she’ll be having… I’m ready to make more tiny things!
