This Christmas I bought myself a present… A class at Craftsy. I couldn’t resist giving one a try and definitely couldn’t pass up Kenneth King’s Jean-ius – reverse engineering your favorite fit. I’ve gone through several lessons and currently have my jeans thread traced and am ready to make a pattern (for those of you interested in taking the class, one of the supplies to make a pattern is silk organza. I got mine at a very reasonable price at Dharma Trading Company). I can’t wait to see how they turn out – I’m so excited at the idea of having a great fitting pair of pants in an assortment of fabrics (plus I figure I can use the same technique on other types of projects). What are you working on this weekend?
