Surprise! It’s (Early) Linky Thursday!

I am guessing that a majority of folks that live in the US will be busy preparingeatingtraveling for Thanksgiving on Thursday so I thought that it might be best to post all the fun a day early! Enjoy & Happy Thanksgiving!:

Still needing a few gift giving ideas? This manicure kit or first aid kit (I love the sucker) would definitely be well received!

Even an ugly tie will look adorable when it’s transformed into a cute clutch.

I’m sure I’ve said it before, but I love raglan style tops. Most tutorials are for the kids, but this one is just for us!

Upcycle a tee and a bit of fabricscarf into a new cowl neck top.

I love a tote with LOTS of pockets – this one doesn’t just have lots of them, the end result looks very professional.

A quick and easy way to stay warm – a wool poncho.

If you have superhero capes on your holiday sewing list, be sure to embellish them with one of these fantastic logos.

I sew on a boring office chair. I think I need to give it some new life by giving it a makeover.

Don’t forget teachers when you’re sewing this holiday. This coin purse will make a perfect gift (especially when filled with a gift card)!

Scarves are such an easy way to accessorize. Check out these easy DIY versions: A ruffled chiffon version, a fun, floral fleece, or a jersey infinity scarf that could almost double as a necklace.

Mail a slice of cake. This has nothing to do with sewing, but it’s such a fun idea I couldn’t resist sharing.

My Holiday must is filling the stngkiocs. We all have stngkiocs made to match my original 1950’s red felt one and it isn’t Christmas without them.My favorite quilting tool is my sandpaper board for tracing around applique shapes or marking those center diagonal lines for making half square triangles. Perfect for making sure my fabric doesn’t slip.

I’ve got all my fabric roednud up and pre-washed. I’m looking forward to starting. Great color on the nails, just perfect for the holiday. I’m like GiGi, can’t wear color on my fingernails, but my toes have a deep teal color that matched my anniversary dress. Thanks for your thoughts on it, by the way! I purchased a home steamer that looks very similar to yours a few months ago. I love the fact that if I let my clean laundry sit around in the basket, and my knits get all wrinkly, I have a way to get the wrinkles out without using the dryer anymore! It’s been a great tool. Happy Thanksgiving!
