I took a bit of a break from sewing to do some pottery painting with Easton – I love no matter how you finish your project, the results always look great (not to mention the fact that I don’t have to clean up the mess when I’m done)! Easton opted to make a mug and I went with a more seasonal item… a jack-o-lantern candle holder. I think each time I’ve done this I learn something new – this time I discovered that using a darker paint to highlight crevices doesn’t always stand out and blending them when they’re beginning to dry doesn’t always work either. Too bad these are so expensive to do, I could make a habit of this!
