My grandma would frequently say, “Everything I touch turns to sh!t”. That’s kind of what point I’m at this week with my sewing – nothing seems to be turning out quite right. First it was the frustration of turning horrible fabric (and by horrible, I mean downright ugly) into something beautiful – no matter how hard I tried, it just didn’t work for me. When I decided that I would change the fabric direction, I realized I was just a hair short of having enough to start over. Then it was attempting to work with a difficult fabric and trying to use some shortcuts – needless to say it didn’t work either and lots of needles were broken. So, instead of showing you all my wadders for the week, I’ll show you something that did work: A glow in the dark mask. Even though this is sized for adults, I think it fits my 4 year old pretty well, plus Easton loves the fact that he can take it in a dark room and all you can see is the mask.
