Clothes, bags, toys… They’re all things that you might regularly see on this blog, but my latest project is just a little bit different. That must mean, I managed to sneak in a bit of sewing time and whiped up another project for my The Office Swap. What could it be?
Finger puppets. That’s right, I made finger puppets! They are made to look like the characters from The Office (and come in their own handy storage bag) so my swap partner can ‘recreate’ episodes from the show. I used the images I found from The Office board game playing pieces, scanned and printed them onto fabric sheets, and then sewed them into the finger puppet shaped.
This was project was easy to make (although I found the fabric sheets that I used were extremely thick so my printer jammed at the end, smudging two characters) and whiped up fairly quickly so I’m thinking about using the same concept to make some fun finger puppets for Easton. He’s really beginning to get an active imagination and I think he’d love it!
