What looks like some sort of mutant superhero at the moment is really….. the start of our chickens!
I actually would have had the whole head finished yesterday, but I not only ran out of red thread, but decided to take a different approach to sewing the chicken’s comb, beak, and waddle…. The directions have you cutting out these (small) parts then sewing them together. I found it hard to keep them aligned properly and looking neat so I decided that I’m going to trace the pattern onto the felt first, place two layers of fabric together, sew, and then cut it out. That is, after I buy more thread!
