I hope everyone recovered from Halloween! I think my children may be coming down from the sugar rush this morning (although Easton is attempting to start on it again)….
With Halloween behind me, what was the next project up on the sewing table? Presents…… This one was just something quick as a birthday gift for one of Taylor’s friends – we needed something that would hold a gift card and what could be better than a ‘money bag’?
I also whipped up (a floral version) for my Christmas Stocking swap partner so I can send off a His\Her themed gift. Once I finish the stocking off, I think this swap is just about done!

Hi Stacy! Every year on Halloween our church has a Children’s festival with carnival games and lots of candy. And each year they assign a theme. This year the theme was clowns. So I made two different clown outfits for my two boys and, of course, painted their faces. It was a lot of fun! And now I’m ready to gear up for Christmas.
I have 3 more swaps to finish and then the only thing on my agenda is CHRISTMAS!! I am going to try to make all the gifts we give…wish me luck!
I love using the box bag you made for me with the candy cane fabric. I holds all my scrapbooking adhesives and tape =)
