My assistant and I are busy finishing up a projects and putting together a “Tips & Tricks” list for tomorrow’s post. Actually, he spends most of his time digging though my notions drawer and in between sewing (when he lets me do it by myself), I’m picking up after him. I’m not sure if I’m giving Easton a love of sewing or not, but he sure does love the stuff that goes along with it!
Now back to work! By the way, what is everyone else working on?

Gosh he is so adorable, playing in your sewing stuff! My sons loved to “help” like that, too. I did not get much sewing done when they were young!

table runners right now. Just to add something new to my fall decorations. I love fall.
Wow,Easton is growing so fast!!! Who knows, maybe he will become a designer!!! I just finished a cozy Simplicity 2603 and highly recommend it. Great for Fall!
Your assistant is so cute! I’m struggling to finish up a small pile of mending, then on to something new. I’ve got a vintage 1940′s Simplicity pattern for stuffed animals, and want to try making a few in bright modern prints. There’s a pony, puppy, bunny, and kitty – and I think I’ll start with the kitty!
I’m glad I’m not the only one who spends an awful lot of sewing time picking up after my “little helper”!
My son likes to unwind the thread and steal my bobbins.

I’ve just finished (and hemmed, blessed be) four pairs of easy peasy pants and have a knit top on the cutting table. It needs the crossgrain neckling binding cut out and I thought of you!
