The Party

Whew! What a weekend! Easton had a good time at his party (he went 10 hours without napping before he finally crashed for the night) and we got to see lots of friends and family. So, probably your biggest question, “how did he do with the cake?” Take a look for yourself:

Clean as a whistle! He even wanted a spoon… he never tries to eat with a spoon! I will say, Taylor did the same thing at her first birthday party (he just touched her cake before asking for something else) so it must be something genetic.

So cute!!! Happy Birthday Easton! My son wanted nothing to do with his cake and to this day doesn’t care for it. My daughter, on the other hand, we struggled to keep her out of it until it was time for pictures.

What a doll! He looks so sweet and content! Maybe seeing all the other people eating with utensils inspired him. ha-ha Or maybe- like my first son – he does not like sticky, messy stuff on his fingers. My child would NOT finger-paint (much to the consternation of his pre-school teacher) and my husband then admitted he had been the same way in his own childhood. Genes!

He is so cute! Thanks for sharing him with us, it’s so hard to believe a whole year has gone by since he was born! Thanks for all the other delightful things you share with us from your life and your sewing and creating.

Ahh, that is so cute he’s needs his spoon. I’m glad the party went well – he’s such a doll. Glad you’re getting your mojo back. Mine is missing a little, but I think that is because we went on vacation for 10 days and now I’m preparing the bio book for the big PR weekend. Never a moment to rest lately….my life story. 😉
