I have a confession to make, I’ve never sewn a fabric bowl before this weekend. It’s not like I don’t own several patterns on the subject, it’s just that I’m turned off by using lots of Peltex and satin stitching the entire project. I’m with you – I’ve never made those bowls because of all of the sewing through peltex, too. This one looks interesting.
How cute! These would be a perfect bowl at the front door to throw keys in, and change, and those little odds and ends that always end up there. Also great to use up little scraps… wonder if you could do a patchwork/quilted one… i think that would be cute!

Uh, oh…I just bought my first Peltex a couple of weeks ago.. to see how it works for making those little baskets that tie in each corner. I made one with plastic template stuff, but I had to be careful and not stitch ON the plastic itself, which was a pain, so I thought I’d try Peltex. I, also have never snowed by fabric bowls, till these.
