After thumbing trough Sew Pretty Christmas Homestyle I was motivated to make something from the book. One thing I couldn’t resist – the cupcake pincushion… So I set out to make one for myself. The book has two sizes, but since I had no idea how large (or small) they were, I opted to make the smaller version for fear that it might come out too big (and lose it’s ‘cute’ factor).

I should have made the bigger one – this one is so tiny. It’s cute, but not really functional. I may try the larger version soon… I’m anxious to see how big it turns out!
