Into The Stash & Giveaway

Before I start into sewing, I thought I would share the latest (taken this morning) photo of Easton who turned two months old this week. We had his doctor appointment yesterday where he weighed in at 12 lbs. and measured 23 inches long (he also got shots, poor baby).
Now onto the sewing talk! I spent some of last night rummaging through my stash and scrap pile where I found all sorts of things I had forgotten about…. one of which I plan on using for my upcoming Christmas Stash Buster swap (so if you’re my partner, don’t read on):

Here’s what I pulled out last night:

On the left is a second skirt panel. I plan on making this one up for my swap partner – I hope she likes it! Fortunately, I have all the supplies needed for this project so I’m all set to go this weekend.
On the right, a Daisy Kingdom Christmas snowman decoration that I had purchased EONS ago – probably when I first started sewing. I had hoped to use this in my swap as well, but there are a lot of supplies that the pattern calls for that I don’t have on hand. I have two of these panels and I know that I will never sew up both of them, so I’m putting the second one up for grabs. If you’re interested in receiving this panel (it’s almost vintage, LOL) just post what you plan on sewing up as a gift this Christmas – I’ll randomly (random number generator) select a comment Sunday evening.

Easton – so darling. I bet he is so fun now. How is he feeling? Did he get over some of his reflux issues?
    That skirt is pretty.

That circle skirt looks very pretty. Your partner will like it!. I have a very similar skirt bought 3 yrs ago that I love to dance in. It has faux, “wide lace trim” printed all around the hem. But mine is not a full circle – maybe a good thing so nothing shows when I spin. Ha-ha.
Easton is cuter and cuter. Wishing I had a baby nearby to hold occasionally!
