Nothing To Report

I can’t say that anything exciting is going on the sewing front. Yesterday was spent at the ball fields watching Taylor play softball – I didn’t think that two hours would hurt me, but I came home with the nastiest burn. I spent the rest of the night complaining about how sore I was and attempting to cool myself off. Before that, however, I did manage to do a bit of tracing – Spaceboy and Robot are ready for fabric if I can find the right material.
Since there’s nothing to report, I’ll leave you with a new Easton photo and ask “What has everyone else been up to? (sewing or not)?”

Off to see the new Adam Sandler’s movie after finishing a wonderful chinease food lunch (real chinese from a chinese chef) with my beloved and a friend from Brazil that arrived yesterday in the US.
I am finishing an embroidery, cross sticth, linen bag to put my friend’s son’s Barmitva’s gift :)
At night…reading the marvelous book I won in your give away!! YAY

It’s not sewing related but I had a baby this weekend! Hopefully we can all get into a routine so I can get some kind of sewing done this summer!

Worked on two aprons, ripped up the carpet and layed wood floors in the master bedroom, purchased paint to paint the room, I think that is it.
That is a great picture of Easton.

No recent sewing – but I painted a tile yesterday at the Woodrow Wilson Residence/Museum. It is next door to the Textile Museum which was having its 25th annual “Celebration of Textiles” day. That was fun, too, but my blue- dyed sample cloth did not turn out very well. We have HOT weather so there were fewer attendees than usual.
Today I saw the “Sex in the City” movie and enjoyed it very much. Total fantasy.

Gee – I neither had a baby or saw a movie. I didn’t sew either. We basically worked on our yard and then saw many of the fruits of our labor wash away in the torrential storms we’ve been getting! Fortunately, no serious damage here. I did also put all Aidan’s and my crafts in our new craft armoire!
Sorry to hear about your sunburn. Easton is so darling! Time is going fast.

Ahhh, such a cute picture of your baby boy! Love the black & white. I’ve been sewing some purses off and on (have 1 I’m selling) over the past few days. Just came back from my Mom’s and left my oldest 2 (4 & 3) maybe until I have the baby so I hope to get a lot more sewing done with only my 18 month old with me and get lots of sleep!!!!!
