Good Morning!

It may be caffeine-fueled enthusiasm (it’s been a VERY long time since I’ve had ‘real’ coffee) or the fact that yesterday I had a lot of inspiration arrive in the mail (not only did my books arrive, but the felted sweater pieces I had ordered as well!), but today I am feeling a strong urge to make or create something! Now that I have some material to work with, I’m really leaning toward making at least one cupcake pincushion from Warm Fuzzies – the only thing I’m missing is that cute little felted ball that she sticks in the middle. I’m also hoping to squeeze in a bit of reading time – Easton and I already did a quick look through of The Big-Ass Book of Crafts – he seemed very excited over the Popsicle-Stick lamp shade and I earmarked (well, sticky noted) pages that would make great swap items!

Hi, Easton! Glad you enjoy craft books because you are going to be reading a lot of them with your mommy!
That big craft book actually has some great stuff in it – I was put off by the title but the pics on Amazon make it tempting.

I checked that book out at Barnes and Noble the other day. Did you know that Lotta Jansdotter has a book about printing? I looked at that, too, and thought it was pretty neat.
Hi little Easton. I look forward to more pictures!
Today we are cleaning out Aidan’s room and hopefully making some crayons (melting broken crayons).

Thanks for all your links. I would have never know about that big-ass book otherwise. I’m putting it my wishlist (having a bday soon).

Hey –I hadn’t had a chance to say congratulations! I am so happy for you! Last week I kept checking your site to see what was going on –I’m so glad things went quickly for you –even if you were overdue and now consequently a little sore! Still, I’m glad all are healthy –and that you are still getting to look at craft sites and update your blog –you go, girl!! I saw that warm fuzzies book this weekend at the bookstore –it is SO CUTE!!! I say go for the cupcake –and wad up a little piece of felt and make your own ball!!
    Again, congrats!

Stacey, I love the way you haven’t missed a beat, in spite of the non-sewing project you’ve just completed! Love those cupcakes!

Oh, how I relate. The coffee (after I gave birth) seemed to put me in an almost ILLEGAL state of mind. Isn’t it wonderful? I’m so jealous of you!
