After our relaxing afternoon yesterday, I was motivated to get something small accomplished….. so I traced Jalie 2788 (View B – the short sleeves). After talking to Emilie a bit about her maternity version of 2787, I decided not to go up the 4 pattern sizes to accommodate my new bust size (yikes!), but go up 2-3 and use a super stretchy material instead. I visited my stash and narrowed down my fabric options to just a few, but I’m going to think it over before I settle on one.
This afternoon – it’s shopping time. Taylor is in dire need of some spring clothes (even though it feels as if spring will never arrive), so we’re going to see what’s out there – in the mean time, I’m hoping to come back with lots of inspirations for the sewing room!
