Happy Valentines And Other Stuff

Happy Valentines Day! I hope your day is filled with all sorts of goodies and treats – not to mention sewing! I plan on getting a bit in and maybe even purchase this new Hot Pattern (I loved my bodysuits in the late 80s early 90s plus I love their description that it gives you a ‘pert & perky derriere’!). I’m also hoping to spend some time in the kitchen – Bret sent me this link for …… Bacon Candy as a hint that I should make some.
Today is also the 2 year anniversary of this site! I’ve absolutely loved sharing my projects, links, and fun articles with you all every day (not to mention meeting so many new sewing friends) – I have no idea where the time has gone. Thank you to everyone who visits this site, it’s been a great 2 years and hopefully there’s many more to come!

Happy happy Aniversary for StacySews!
I found a dear friend when I stumble on this site. I have learned a lot. This is a corner of the world that makes me leave all my difficulties of the day behind and I read about one of the things I like most. Sewing!
Congratulations…Keep inspiring us all Stacy. I wish you a shower of Success and Creativity!

Happy Valentine’s Day and Two-year Anniversary of Stacy Sews! It is always a treat.
I’ve been wondering why bodysuits have not made a come-back sooner – especially when all the low-rise jeans and skirts re-appeared and most women were not comfortable with constantly exposed bellies! My sister and I remembered the utility of those bodysuits from the first time “hip huggers” were popular. One of my personal favorites was an all-in-one bodysuit that went from a turtle neck down all the way to my toes. (For winter, obviously – it was a black rib knit.) I wore it with an assortment of mini-skirts I’d sewn or crocheted, especially a fake-leopard skin one. But then I left California and my wardrobe changed to a very conservative one!
Ha-ha.

Happy anniversary! Here’s to many more inspirational projects from your sewing table.
I can’t believe you can actually get a pattern for a body – I also can’t believe I’m now old enough to remember things ‘first time round’!

Congrats on the 2 years!

Happy Anniversary!!!! Happy Valentine’s Day too!
