I can see this post getting to be a bit long-winded, but I promise, if you stick with it, there’ll be a payoff in the end!

First off, I should probably explain the lack of productivity coming from my sewing area over the last month or so. Normally, I crank out at least a project (unless it’s something very complex or large) a week, maybe more. However, since school has started, I’ve noticed a considerable decrease in the number of items that I am able to complete. In part this is due to Taylor’s new school routine – you would think starting an hour earlier would jump start my day and get me sewing before the sun even started shining! But honestly, I miss my extra hour of sleep – after 5 years of the same routine I have to admit, I miss it. I have to admit, I don’t adapt to change very well! My second issue is EXTREME tiredness – I believe that I’m turning into a sloth (which sleeps 18 hours a day), but hopefully with considerable less fur… The reason for this sleepiness? I’m pregnant! I’m currently 13 weeks, however, my belly has already popped a bit:

Thankfully, as I’m heading into my second trimester, I’m also feeling a bit more energetic and the queeziness is gone too. We’ve had several sonograms with this pregnancy and everything seems to be going well!
Now about that house…. It’s finally taking shape! I had wanted to take an updated photo of it yesterday, however the weather would never cooperate and you’ll have to just imagine the siding is on and is painted gray with white trim (the green is the ‘wrap’ that they’ve put on the house to keep the moisture out and isn’t the color of he house itself):

We’ve managed to select everything that is going into the house now, we’re just waiting for them to put it all in. This week, they started putting in sheet rock, so all the rooms are looking like rooms!
