Well, it’s been awhile since I’ve made a fabric purchase, but today, I couldn’t resist. Remember this post I made way back in July? I finally purchased the fabric to make that Victoria Secret coat! While I was there, I also selected a few knits – the Graphic Swirls (because I’m still attracted to black and white) and the Shadow Dots print. I bought just enough yardage for tops, but I have no idea what styles yet. Of course, I could have purchased much more, but considering I just burned a hole in my PayPal account, I figured I did good for one day!
Now I’m so excited for my fabrics to arrive, I can’t wait. What new goodies have you all purchased lately?

To answer your question – I purchase a beautiful cotton knit last week, black printed with red and a bit of glittering silver. I made an Onion top with it and started making Simplicity 4020 too. Still have enough to make a tank top or a slim skirt!

Does it count that I bought elastic and replaced the old stuff in a fun skirt I made about 23 years ago? I love this skirt. I feed it new elastic every five years or so. haha.
