It’s only just a few days into September, but yesterday, I noticed Halloween candy is already going on sale! This brought about a conversation with Taylor of what she wanted to do for one of my favorite holidays….
This year there isn’t a class party for Halloween and I wasn’t sure if she was ‘giving up’ trick or treating or just passing out the candy. That’s when she said it…… I’m passing out candy. I told her she could still dress up if she wanted to (hint, hint) and Bret suggested we put her on the porch, stuff her (to look like a decoration), and let her scare the older kids as they get their goodies. Taylor hopped on that one since in our previous neighborhood, that was a popular ‘trick’. Needless to say, I won’t be making a costume – the first time in 8 years!
On the skull hoodie update – I’ve got all the pieces cut and am happy to say, I’ve got enough leftover fabric that I might be able to eek something out for myself as well. Now to change the thread in the serger and get going on this one!
Aw, that is tough about Taylor. Maybe she’ll change her mind or want to wear something while handing out treats.
Little Taylor is growing up! Fast…:)
On the Angelina’s dress.You’ll make the dress,and you do have a B-r-e(t)…don’t you? 😉

I love Halloween–it’s so much fun! JD and I still dress up to hand out candy. Can’t wait to see Taylor’s hoodie.
BTW, I got a copy of the magazine with your pears last week. The article turned out great. I didn’t know if you had seen it out yet or not–I’ve been out for a week and I haven’t caught up on all my blog reading yet. Great job–they looked really good!
My hubby and I usually dress up to hand our the Halloween candy.
One of those temporary, “Halloween” stores just opened here this past weekend!
