Jalie V-Neck Top: Complete!

12

Category : Jalie V-Neck Top

Originally, I had planned on putting up a different post, but since I finished up my Jalie top this morning, I couldn’t wait to share!

I’m really excited about the way this top turned out. Aside from dealing with the zipper and the lining (I had a bit of a hard time getting these to look ‘right’) the shirt was so wonderful to put together. It also is very different from anything that I own currently. If you’re interested in seeing more, I’ve also put up a review of this on on PR. By the way, if you’re keeping track, I’m up to 13 projects now completely made with stashed fabric!
Now I’m off to get ready for a nice night out to dinner – too bad its too warm to wear my new top out! Next up, Taylor’s hoodie.

This top looks fantastic! You did an excellent job on it – perfectly matched and a great choice of fabric.

Stacy, it is so lovely. Great fabric choice, as well. Have a lovely evening out! :)

Ohhh, love it! I really like the fabric pattern! I need to make myself a shirt…I really do. ROFL.

What a cute top! You did a great job. I have a fondness for zip-up tops. No RTW top would have such nice print-matching. In fact, I saw a mention in a RTW fashion feature that NOT having matched-up print lines was “trendy”. Good excuse, anyway, haha.

I love this top – you could not a chosen a more perfect fabric. I bet it looks great on you!

Love the top! I have to say your recent postings have inspired me to sew clothes, and you know that is something I DON’T do! :-) I bought the New Look 6697 today and found an awesome knit for $1 a yard, so I figure I can’t go wrong at that price! Wish me luck!

Another cute one, Stacy!

Lucky number 13 came out really nice. Great job! Just thought I’d let you know I bought the Sew News Holiday magazine with your holiday pear in it. I actually didn’t even know it was a Sew News mag. I just flipped through it and it looked fun so I bought it. Congrats on being published!

That top looks so comfy! And I concur with previous commenters, you did a great matching the print. People who sew notice stuff like that ;)

I really like it! Love the fabric!

I had purchased this pattern to add to my fall wardrobe – yours looks fantastic! I can’t wait to make mine now!

Gosh, what a lovely top. And it looks just perfect. I am envious! My sewing never looks half so well.
