I wish I could take credit for the items above because they are absolutely amazing in person! These are the swap items that I got from Luxie Lou – a polymer clay votive holder, heart shaped magnets, and the most adorable cheesecake charm. I’m in love with them all (Taylor claimed the charm for today)! If you’re looking for some great polymer clay items, be sure to stop by her store, you won’t be disappointed!
Now, on to sewing!

I am sad to report that the Burda top is still uncut – but my house is in fabulous shape! Since I was so tired from cleaning yesterday (whoever said housework isn’t comparable to a workout hasn’t hung out with me), I spent the evening surfing and here’s some of the fun links that I’ve found:
Designing your own fabrics from your home computer.
Simplicity and the American Sewing Guild are now taking entries in the 2007 Creativity Contest. While you’re on the Simplicity site, be sure to check out their Halloween Costume Contest Winners – AMAZING!
Shop Onion has announced 3 new patterns on their site – Empire Spencer dress, Knit toptunic and dress, and the halterneck top and dress. I liked all of these patterns and with the way my Onion top turned out, I’m anxious to try some more.
Another installment of “What is Zoe Wearing?“. That’s a lot of pleather she’s got on this week.
From Entrepreneur magazine – a great article on the rise of sewing. Sewing is now the new knitting.
