Weekly Goal

For several hours yesterday, I had the place to myself. Bret and Taylor had gone to The Golf Warehouse to check out some new clubs so I was left alone to do, whatever!

This gave me plenty of time to surf (the blogosphere was definitely quiet yesterday), do some (dreaded) laundry, and start cutting fabric for 2 more superhero aprons (which has been already promised to someone). I also decided what my next project will be, Simpicity 3497 – the layered tanks. This means I need to get myself over to Hancock Fabrics for thread (today is the last day for their notions sale) and a zipper and get to cutting my fabric!
My sewing goal this week: Make 2 aprons and complete my new tank.
What’s everyone planning on working on this week?

I’m working on a appliqued wall hanging.
I’m also buying fabric, notions and the like for my next project: a chef costume.

I am starting a new job tomorrow and have been trying to catch up on DD’s school scrapbook so I will probably be doing that in my spare time.
What I would like to be doing – the “In Stitches” Amy Butler robe. I made the apron last week and love it. Also would like to work on some summer pj’s for DD and me.

This weeks goals are to finish the white simplicity 3867 top, I started awhile ago and I still need to trace the Jalie top I want to do next. Then the experimental top I started last weekend needs to have some finishing touches. I’m not making to many plans because I have a few days of work next week. What I would really like to do is put all this to the side and start on McCalls 5314.
