Fleecy Pants?

My package from Fabric.com arrived yesterday afternoon (wow, that was fast!).

The Novelty Knit Graphite is so wonderfully soft – I could use this kind of fabric in a whole range of colors! I also got the pink french terry (a steal at $1.98/yd in my opinion!), I have decided that I’m going to do one of several things with it:
1) copy my Victoria Secret pants that I recently purchased (maybe I’ll even get creative and add “butt graffiti” to it.
2) try out Burda World of Fashion’s (January 2006) rouched hoodie and pants set.
3) finally use my McCall 4261 pattern.
4) Break down and purchase Jalie 2676 – the women’s jogging suit.
Of course, the temperatures here are going to reach 110 today (again) – much too hot to start thinking about jackets and yoga pants!
I also noticed today that Emma One Sock posted that tripple mesh and onionskins were in – and the geisha print was one of them. I waited too long to decide if I wanted this last time and missed out on it. I’m sure that any money that I saved at Fabric.com will be blown on some new fabrics at EOS! Someone stop me from surfing!

    Hi Stacy,
Do you have any source for the large letters they use for the “butt graffit”? All I have seen around here is the smaller letters. I haven’t tried any websites though. Thanks!

Unfortunately, no. After looking at some of Victoria Secret’s up close, they seem to use a fleecy like fabric, sew the letter onto the pants and then leave 1/4 of the fabric outside of the seamline unfinished (if that all makes sense). I was going to try to do this myself, but if I stumble across some extra large applique letters, I’ll post the source.
