SWAPs

I’m not disciplined enough to participate in SWAPs (Sewing With A Plan), so I’ve been thinking about joining a Swap – a Summer Bag Swap! I’ve never done one before (but it sure sounds like fun) and would like to know people’s experiences (good and bad) with them before I commit. So, send me your emails or post your comments here and help me decide!

New Patterns Out

It’s that time again – fall pattern previews. Simplicity beat out the crowd by releasing their patterns first. I’ve already picked up a number of new ones that they’ve released – I’m really impressed with the direction they are taking their patterns!
Burda just released their new fall collection. I’m really not sure how I feel about these patterns – nothing jumped out at me and most of what I saw looked like an ’80’s remix (this page has the knickers and riding pants with the high neck blouses, some with ties).
