My Summer Bag Swap Partner, Announced
The Summer Bag Swap partners have been posted and I now have my partner……………andreamarie (she’s also coordinating this swap and runs a Crafty Handbags site on Live Journal) ! I’m very excited and have a ton of ideas swimming in my head. So, if you’re Andrea Marie – no peeking at this entry! Everyone else, read on.

Fall Fashion Forecast
The fall fashion forecast is out – so the trends for the upcoming season are official.
Get Up And Sew
The campers came home early yesterday – the fish just weren’t biting. Consequently, I didn’t get any more sewing done. But, I did get some fantastic stuff during my trip to Joann’s.
Sewing Saturday
I had high hopes of getting more done yesterday (while everyone was gone) than what I actually accomplished.
Sewing Extravaganza
Bret and Taylor are planning on going camping this weekend – something I absolutely refuse to do (I’m ready to go home after the campfire and wienie roast). This leaves me with several hours of uninterupted sewing time, so be prepared to see some new completed project photos soon!
Costuming
I know that yesterday was the first day of summer, but I’m already planning costumes for Halloween! I probably wouldn’t have started doing this already, but I ran across this site last night and it really got me thinking.
