I added Burda’s Easy Fashion tiered skirt to the project sidebar tonight. I worked on this today and managed to complete it tonight! I had all the pieces cut out and ready to go – all in all, it went together very fast. I even inserted the invisible zipper without any problems.

I used fabric from my latest Fabric Mart print bundle – almost 3 yards of a wild looking (but pretty) border print. Originally, Taylor had claimed this, but after seeing the tiered skirts in the Burda magazine, I knew I had to use this fabric. Incidently, the pink fabric that I’m using for the Burda 8053 top matches the pink in this skirt – so I suppose this will have to be one of my next projects to start on.
